    Good

Close to the shopping outlets and it was quiet.

If you are staying just to sleep and head out again this is perfect.

They were very helpful in directing my sister and myself to shopping. Giving us directions and maps!!!

    rooms need to be upgraded.

    Very good

The owners were very nice and the room quite clean

The pillows got to go. I would not even call them a pillows. It would take 4/6 to make one pillow. Make sure you bring your own.

It's a very old motel, it needs a lot of work!

Old, outdated motel. Bugs, both flying and cockroach types. Resulted in not being able to stay there. Will never go back.

    Exceptional

I liked the fact that Nick bent over backwards to make our stay be the best it could be. When we found out our room heater wasn't working well, he didn't hesitate to change our room (an upgrade, no less) within a few minutes. Nick, his wife and mother made our stay a very enjoyable experience and I wouldn't hesitate a moment to recommend the Colonial Inn Motel to family and friends. Thank you Nick and we send our best wishes for continued success. Hilda & Aldo (Brampton, on)

Nick, if I could suggest one thing to help with your success it would be to give some thought in offering a "continental breakfast". Coffee, juice, muffins, toast I'm sure that would attract more business.

    Fabulous

My sister and I were going shopping at Grove City Outlet. The drive to the mall was direct and easy. The location in Mercer was very quiet-nice. No heavy traffic. Mattresses were comfortable. Extra blankets and towels were accessible upon request. Air conditioner worked very well. Neat appearance of Motel. Interesting to have 2 door in motel room for easy exit in case of fire, one to a hallway the other to parking lot. Cost was extremely reasonable.

Lack of waste basket in bedroom. No radio clock. As this is family owned, one would expect better cleaning. The "harp" on bedside lamp needed good dusting with a brush. It appeared the harp had never been dusted since arrival to the room. Scrubbing corners of tile floor would support a better appearance. Both tasks only need to be done every 6 months to improve appearances. Room needed airing as smoke from next door room made it smell as if smoking had occurred in room.

We wanted a cheap hotel for 1 night. This place was fine for that purpose. There are no services, except wifi in the room.

    Superb

Nick could not have been more helpful and friendly. He displays a real love for people and a concern over their needs. The beds were very comfortable and they had a nice mix of pillows for various-style sleepers. They had a public coin-operated laundry which I thought was a very good idea.

Sheets were very wrinkled and some stains the first night we were there but improved with the other two nights. A lot of dust on carpet under heater/AC and hair in bathroom sink. These are things that made me feel that it was not quite as clean as it could be. Also there was a silk fern plant in the lobby that was always the first thing that I came upon as I entered the lobby from the bedroom hallway and I so wanted to take it and put it under the shower because it had so much dust on it!

    Good

Relatively inexpensive, close to my destination. Room was clean.

It is an old motel, a bit rundown. You could see where they patched carpeting in several spots in the room. The bathroom was old.

the motel is old and a bit run down...need to paint, remove carpets and re-tile the bathroom.

We visited this motel after shopping at the outlet in grove city. I didn't enjoy my stay. I felt rather itchy sleeping on the bed. The noise level was pretty high. I can hear people talkin loudly from the next room as well as random noises throughout the night. The water in the bathroom was purple in the morning. I didn't know it in the beginning but we weren't warned. Apparently it was some type of lead flushing. The washroom wasnt very clean either. I would not go back.
